GENERAL INFORMATION

“Shen-Concern” CJSC was registered in 1995. The Company was formed as a result of privatizing “ArmResourceImpex” governmental enterprise.

After reorganization, the company partially preserved its previous specialization – trade of nonferrous metals, and additionally started dealing with wholesale trade of construction materials.

After 5 years of activity, the company launched its own production. In 2000, at the expense of credit means, allocated by the World Bank, “Shen-Concern” started producing dry construction blends with the use of mainly local raw materials.

Since July, 2001, the Company has been producing ecologically friendly construction paints under German technology. In 2006, “Shen-Concern” CJSC and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is one of the largest shareholders of the enterprise, organized production of concrete blocks. At present, Shen-Concern is a leader in Armenia as to production of construction materials.

Starting August, 2006, “Shen-Concern” CSJC is included in rating of companies by the Central Bank of Armenia. Now the company is assigned “B” rating.
