GENERAL INFORMATION

Armenian-Russian “ArmRosGasprom” Closed Joint Stock Company was established on August 30, 1997 by Energy Ministry of the Republic of Armenia, “Gasprom” OJSC and “ITERA” international group of enterprises – gas producers and exporters.

The main aim for establishing “ArmRosGasprom” is the supply and sales of natural gas in the internal market of the Republic of Armenia, transit of natural gas through the territory of the Republic of Armenia to third countries, realization of programs on design, funding, construction and operation of transit gas-pipelines and underground gas storages in process of reestablishment, operation, expansion and reconstruction of the current gas-pipeline system and gaining profit.

The shareholders of “ArmRosGasprom” are the government of Armenia (26.23% of the authorized capital stock), “Gasprom” OJSC (67.94% of the authorized capital stock) and “ITERA” group of enterprises (5.83% of the authorized capital stock).
